但是我可以让他们知道还有这些东西对于中国而言也十分重
要， 你可以今天没有注意到， 但这些事情不该被忽视，
作哪些报道当然是他们的
工作， 我没有办法改变他们， 但是我可以向他们提供一些新闻点。

宋： 你介意我问一下你平时的工作都是什么吗？

飞： 我的正式职位是研究总监，
那我现在供职的公司是一家媒体研究机构， 可能
我说的不太形像， 或者可以这么说吧。
我的公司关注于电视报纸杂志广播以及互
连网站点儿的受众。有多少人在看他们的节目， 看他们的报纸，
我个人现在住在
香港， 但是我的公司在美国纽约， 我这样的人现在被称作TELECOMMUTER，
因为我
没有办公室可去， 所以大部分的时间我都呆在家里，加上我并不太忙，
所以呢，
就有很多时间上网看东西， 读报纸什么的。。

宋： 很多人觉得你简直是个疯子！ 每天翻译这么多东西，
你哪来的这么多时间作
这么多事情呢？

飞： 把这么些东西都加起来其实也化不了多少时间，
很多人觉得在这么短的时间
内翻译这么多东西 实在有一些不可思议，
这个问题的关键在于我能否读懂中文，
能够把意思原封不动的用英文加以表述。实际上我之前做过五六年的专业翻�
��将中
文翻译成英文， 当我将中文内容和英文内容放在脑中的时候，
我很难说出两者之
间的区别。如果我看一篇英文的报道， 然后你忽然问我说，
你刚才读到脑子里的
东西就应变成中文还是英文？
我可能根本回答不了这个问题。因为对我来说， 两
者之间没有区别，
所以呢我看了很多中文新闻然后再翻译成英文，其实就像是一个
打字员 把英文文本再用英文输入一遍而已， 所以对我来说，
这并不会花太多时
间。其实， 就是一个重复打字的工作
